What does this stuff do, and why do I need it?
PRE RIDE protectant
Our original product, MuddyBuddy PRE Ride protectant is both a layer of defense from mud build up, but also a penetrating spray that will keep plastics, painted surfaces, and bare metal parts looking new and protected against oxidation and UV fading. Packaged in a handy trigger spray bottle, you are applying MuddyBuddy where you want, not into the air Muddy Buddy protectant applied everywhere except rider contact areas on a cool and clean surfaces. The mud won't stick, and neither will you! Mud build up under fenders and the underside of an ATV will prevented.

You can actually do more damage after a race or day in the mud simply by cleaning with a high pressure washer and your choice of cleaning chemicals. Blasting mud from and around bearings like hubs and steering stems and especially suspension pivot points, plus using a caustic cleaning product will remove any lubricant and can actually fuse porous metals together. Common maintenance and adjustment bolts are corroded and oxidized.
Some 'PURPLE' type cleaners used at full strength, will remove anodized plating. Orange degreasers will also remove lubrication from areas that will shorten their life. Like your chain and cables.
Seals and Wiring stay supple
Bearing seals and wiring harnesses are kept pliable protected from dry rot and harsh cleaners. Sprayed into hard to service areas is super easy with an adjustable trigger spray. Tough to reach wiring, plastics, painted finishes and bolts retain their new look and easy servicing. Cleaning those spots is simple. A reapplication of MuddyBuddy protectant and you're ready for your next adventure!

Moto-Bath Ultra Clean
works with the Protectant
That's right, Moto-Bath does not remove MuddyBuddy protectant. If you are already using the protectant, Moto-Bath will remove that last bit of mud staining. Especially on white plastics, tires and soft parts. Moto-Bath is NOT a citrus degreaser. You don't want to remove greases and lubrication, just the dirt!
